Peanut joined our family the day before Thanksgiving. My husband and kids were dropping off donations to the Humane Society (Animal Care Center) and saw his picture and fell in love with him. They came home and told me all about him and we all went back to see him. From the minute we met him we knew he would be part of our family. He was so gentle and sweet. We were told Peanut had bladder stone surgery and is on a prescription diet. As it turns out, our five year old Chihuahua, Lilly, had bladder stones too. They are both on the same special diet food. Now Peanut has a big fenced in yard to run in and gets lots of exercise. It initially took Lilly a couple days to warm up to Peanut, but now they have so much fun together. They run and chase each other and play with toys together. It’s so much fun watching them play. We’re all so happy Peanut is part of our family.
