Help Save Pets’ Partner program recognizes community businesses which support the mission of Help Save Pets.The Plainfield Public Library collected food for fines to initiate their Paws to Read summer reading program.  The donations were given to Help Save Pets.  Help Save Pets conducted two adoption days during this special summer program; one the week of the program and another at the Summer Reading Grand Finale at which an adoption did occur.On August 20, Dean and Nancy Gearhart, representatives of Help Save Pets, presented the Plainfield Public Library with a commemorative brick to be installed at the Walkway of Life at the entrance of the Animal Care Center, Plainfield.Pictured, left to right are Nancy Gearhart, Help Save Pets, Sharon Kinley, Library BoardPresident, Julie Milavec, Library Director and Michelle Peterson, Circulation Services.
